BPC Processing has confirmed its service provider status with MasterCard
The company has successfully completed the annual Mastercard Service Provider Validation Center audit, confirming its status as a service provider.
Mastercard Service Provider Validation Center is a platform designed to verify service providers' compliance with Mastercard's data security standards. The annual validation includes an audit of security systems and processes related to the processing, storage and transmission of payment information.
The audit process includes the following steps:
1. Preparation: The service provider must gather all necessary documentation and ensure that security requirements are met.
2. Audit: An external or internal audit is conducted, which includes an assessment of security systems, processes, and policies.
3. Reporting: Auditors prepare a report that records the results of the audit and recommendations for improvement.
4. Corrective Action: If the audit identifies irregularities or areas for improvement, the service provider must develop an action plan to correct these deficiencies.
5. Confirmation of Compliance: once all recommendations have been implemented and deficiencies corrected, the service provider may receive confirmation of compliance with Mastercard standards.
6. Monitoring: it is also important to regularly monitor and update security to ensure continued compliance and protection of customer data
